Postdoc vacancy

Full-time postdoc researcher vacancy in the project ‘’Investigating the role of small RNAs and their targets in mycorrhiza-mediated plant-to-plant signals’’. Salary (3100 EUR/month before tax) during the implementation of the project. Opportunities to continue work in the group via joint applications for follow-up postdoc grants listed below.

Requirements:

·      PhD in biology (less than 10 yrs prior to obtaining the degree)

·      experience with processing, analysis & interpretation of different -omics datasets

·      experience in molecular biology (e.g., RNA/DNA extraction, NGS library preparation, rt-qPCR etc.)

·      at least 2 publications to demonstrate the abovementioned experience & skillsets

·      strong interest or previous experience in work on plant-microbe interactions will be considered as an advantage

·      former experience in supervision of students will be considered as an advantage

·      ability to work in a team, great English language and communication skills
